MARY BOWERS NEWHALL November 24, 1929 - November 1, 2006ANDERSON, SCMrs. Mary Elizabeth Cox Bowers Newhall, age 76, wife of Russ Newhall of 311 Simpson Road, died Wednesday, November 01, 2006 at Anderson Place.Born in Greenville County, SC on November 24, 1929, Mrs. Newhall was a daughter of the late Horace Cox and Bessie Poteat Cox. She was retired from North Greenville College and was of the Baptist Faith.Survivors include her husband, Russ Newhall of the home; son, Philip Bowers and his wife, Sandra of Greer, SC; daughter, Margaret Newhall and her husband, Russell of Anderson, SC; brothers, Joe Cox and Benny Cox of Greenville, SC; sister, Pearl Langley of Greer, SC. Two grandsons, Ryan Newhall and his wife, Dennell of Albuquerque NM and James Bowers of Greer, SC also survive.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Virgil B.
