Pilgrim of 6103 Hwy. 81 S. died Monday, September 15, 2008 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson. Born in Lavonia, GA on October 1, 1911, Mrs. Pilgrim was a daughter of the late James Aaron Mauldin and Minnie P. Mauldin. She was a homemaker and a member of Starr Baptist Church.Survivors include her son, Jimmy Pilgrim and his wife, Nadine; daughter, Ida Pearl Spivey Escoe both of Starr; sister, Madolia Adams of Kennesaw, GA; three grandchildren, Tim Spivey and his wife, Katrina; Michelle Owens and her husband, Danny, all of Starr and Bradford Dallas Pilgrim of Anderson and two great grandchildren, Hannah Rose Owens and Jacob Daniel Owens.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at 11:00 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park officiated by the Reverend Jamie Duncan. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
