After working at Pendleton Finishing Plant, she became a cook at Young's Caf'. She was a member of Pendleton United Methodist Church.She is survived by her sons; Charles Pruitt and his wife, Janet of Anderson, SC and Lloyd Pruitt and his wife, Patty of Pendleton, SC; brother, Ollie Lee Barnett and his wife, Macy of Stone Mountain, GA; sister, Frances Lucille Spivey of Atlanta, GA; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Lucille Pruitt.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday June 24, 2009 at 11:30 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by Sister Frances Cobb and Sister Sara Kelly. Interment will follow in Pendleton United Methodist Church Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am Wednesday at the funeral home.The family is at the home of her grandson, Terry Pruitt, 611 New Hope Road, Anderson, SC.Flowers are optional.
