Mary Ann Anderson Reedy, age 76, of Anderson, SC, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023.

Born September 2, 1947, in Leelanau, MI, she was the daughter of the late Hazen Anderson and Sophia Smarey Anderson. She was married to Cliff Reedy, Sr. until his death in 2006. She was also preceded in death by her stepdaughter, Sharon Smith.

Mary Ann received her master's in education from Aquinas College in Michigan. Early in her career she taught Spanish and retired from St. Joseph Catholic School where she served as the Principal. Following her retirement, she was an administrative assistant and receptionist for Design South. She loved Greyhounds and adopted former racing dogs.

She is survived by her son, Todd Reedy and his wife Erin; stepson, Cliff Reedy, Jr.; sister, Barbara Anderson; and grandchildren, Caroline and Anderson Reedy.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 pm at The McDougald Family Center, 2303 N. Main St., Suite C, Anderson, SC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Greyhound Crossroads.
