Mary Ellen Brown Roberts, 85, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Rainey Hospice House. Born in Easley, SC, on January 8, 1933, Mary was a daughter of the late J.B. Brown and Lettie Weaver Brown. Mary was a member of Boulevard Baptist Church. Mary is survived by her daughters, Amanda Watson (Marty) of Easley, Debbie Orr (Mark) of Anderson, and Teresa Every of Myrtle Beach; sisters, Selena Lockaby of Easley and Linda Massey of Greenwood; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Francis Harold Roberts. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. The funeral service will follow in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Jack Couch officiating.
