MARY RUMSEY May 29, 1924 - March 25, 2007ANDERSON, SCMrs. Mary Vaughn Rumsey, age 82, wife of the late Bennie R. Rumsey, slipped away to be with Jesus on Sunday, March 25, 2007 at NHC Health Care of Anderson.Born in Piedmont, SC on May 29, 1924, Mrs. Rumsey was a daughter of the late Robert D. Vaughn and Minnie Burgess Vaughn. She was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church and was a nursery worker and the nursery coordinator for many years. She was also a homemaker.Survivors include her daughters, Lisa Rumsey McBride and her husband, Watson A. McBride III and Nancy Rumsey Terry and her husband, Jack D. Terry, all of Anderson; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Duane Vaughn and a sister, Frances Maxwell.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Ralph Carter. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Anderson.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be at the home of her daughter, Lisa R. McBride, 105 Ridgeway Trail (Bailey Creek), Anderson, SC.Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Missions for Jesus, P.O.
