MARY SMITH March 26, 1964 - March 11, 2013 ANDERSON, SC Mary Elizabeth Liggins Smith, age 48, of Anderson, SC passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Monday, March 11, 2013. Born in Zebulon, NC, she was the daughter of the late Irby Liggins and Barbara Crume Liggins. She worked as a Human Services Specialist in Child and Adolescent Mental Health in Anderson, SC. She attended NewSpring Community Church. She is survived by her mother, two sons, Matthew L. Smith and Dalton T. Smith, all of the home; a sister, Melanie Stancil; a brother-in-law, Jim Davey, of Knightdale, NC; and a special friend, Ken Crawford, of Easley, SC. The family will be at the home and will receive friends on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at The McDougald Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the Massey Funeral Home in Zebulon, NC. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Zebulon, NC. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club, 106 Tolly Street, Anderson, SC 29625.
