MARY STEPHENS ANDERSON, SCMrs. Mary Lois Stephens, of 2807 Colonial Drive, Anderson, SC, died Friday, November 10, 2006 at her residence.Born in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late Cleo William Evans and Jessie Mae Robinson Evans. She was a graduate of Girls' High School and a member of Anderson First Assembly of God. She retired from AnMed Health Medical Center after twenty-seven years of service. Following retirement, she volunteered at the AnMed Health Medical Hospital and also managed Uptown Restaurant for almost twenty years. Survivors include two sisters, Claudine 'Dena' Parks of Anderson, SC and Jimmie Sue Swilling of Starr, SC; nephews, Mike Haynie of Atlanta, GA, Stan Haynie of Winder, GA, Larry Swilling Jr., of Anderson, SC, Scott Swilling of Anderson, SC, Charles David Evans, Jr., of Coral Springs FL and nieces, Darlene Cash of Anderson, SC and Tiante 'Tina' Devlin of Freeport, PA.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles David Evans.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2006 at 3:00 pm at the Anderson First Assembly of God officiated by the Reverend Phil Sears.
