MARY WEBER July 19, 1941 - May 25, 2008ANDERSON, SCMrs. Mary Agnes Cunningham Weber, age 66, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2008 at National Health Care Nursing Home in Anderson.Born in Brooklyn, NY on July 19, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Lt. Colonel Eugene Cunningham and Agnes Funke Cunningham. Mrs. Weber was a graduate of Seton Hall High School and holds her Bachelor's Degree from Hofstra University. She also holds a Master's Degree in Library Science from Long Island University. Mary was a retired teacher from New Lane School in Selden, NY. She met her husband while teaching for the United States Air Force in Tripoli, Libya. They resided 35 years in Blue Point, NY before moving to Anderson, SC. Mary spent her life advocating education. She was the co-founder of SEABBS Art Program in Suffolk County, NY; state chartered the Patchogue Nursery School; and was a past president and 17 year member of the Bayport-Blue Point School Board. She was a loving wife for 42 years of Dr. Charles Wesley Weber, who survives her and she was an amazing mother and grandmother. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughter, Karen Marie Weber of White Plains, NY; daughter, Catherine Irene Weber of Cambridge, MA, daughter, Deborah Lee Weber Pine and husband, Christopher Pine of Midlothian, VA; grandchildren, Lily Ji-Yun Pine and Christopher Jett Pine of Midlothian, VA.
