Matt Michael Mathews Oklahoma City, OK Matt Michael Mathews, age 41, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015. Born in Leesburg, FL, he was the son of R.V. Mathews and Lana Klingmann Ross and her husband Craig Ross. He proudly served his country in the United States Army for 18 years, serving 2 tours in Iraq and 1 in Korea. He was ranked a Warrant Officer 3. Matt was a Medi-vac Helicopter Pilot with Eagle Med, LLC. He attended Front Line Church in Oklahoma City, OK. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fianc, Lisa Lee; a son, Michael Anthony Mathews, of Colorado Springs, CO; a brother, R.V. Mathews, III., of FL; a sister, Kelley Bolling Thibeault (Stacy), of Anderson, SC; step-brother, Craig Hunter Ross (Jessica), of Thornton, CO; step-sisters, Tami Aiken (Mike) of Deland, FL, Tiffany King, of Orange City, FL, and Summer Ross, of Denver, CO; nieces and nephews, Siera, Bryan, Nikki and Austin, as well as several other nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Juanita Klingmann; and an Uncle James Klingmann. The Funeral Service to honor and celebrate the life of Matt will be held at The Anderson Sports and Entertainment Center on Friday, March 20, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Gasque officitiating. Interment will follow at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veteran's Cemetery. After services the family welcomes you to visit with them at The McDougald Family Center.
