MATTIE BROADWELL September 24, 1916 - November 19, 2007ANDERSON, SCMrs. Mattie Lee Broadwell, age 91, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, November 19, 2007. She was the daughter of the late John D. and Bertha Ramey Lee of Madison County, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence M. Broadwell and son, Calvin M. Broadwell. She has one living daughter, Vivian B. Haynie and her husband, Buford Haynie Jr.She loved traveling with the Appleton Women's Club at Appleton Mill, where she worked many years. She also was a lifetime member of Oakwood Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.She was blessed with two children, four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. The grandchildren are: Susan Wham and husband, Lynn; Don Haynie and wife, Donna; Chris Broadwell and wife, Wendy and Ken Broadwell. She is also survived by two brothers, Ross and Robert E. Lee from a family of twelve siblings.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Reverend Dr. Jack Couch.
