MAUDE BUTLER MC INNISJuly 27, 1911 - December 26, 2005IVA, SCMrs. Maude Welborn Butler McInnis, age 94, of 406 West Broad Street, Iva, SC, died Monday, December 26, 2005 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.Born in Royston, GA on July 27, 1911, She was a former employee of Jackson Mill in Iva and a member of the First Baptist Church of Iva. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. This precious loving mother and grandmother and a dear friend will be missed by all. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Dan and Earlene Butler of Hartwell, GA and Raymond and Sue Butler of Iva, SC; daughters, and sons-in-law, Mary Young of Iva, SC; Jan and Wade Latham of Iva, SC, Betty and L.A. Minor of Starr, SC; 14 grandchildren, Clinton Adams, Tena Burris, Tonda Powell and Echoles Latham, Vinda Slaton, Tammy Weeks and Mike Butler, Yolanda Secrist and Tracy Biter, Tyus and Tyler Butler, Tracy Cole, Trina Wilson and Bob Elrod; 34 great-grandchildren and 33 great-great-grandchildren.She was the widow of Wade McInnis and the daughter of the late William B. and Lizzie Russom Welborn. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Lee Tom Butler; a son, Thomas Butler, Jr.; two grandsons, Dannyjo Butler and Gary Young and six sisters, Cora Payne, Bess Allen, Ida Booth, Mattie Ballenger, Naomi Kay and Ethel Vaughn and four brothers, Oscar, Emmit, Harvey and Bill Welborn. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at 3:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Iva officiated by the Reverend Roger Estridge. Burial will follow in Iva City Cemetery.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mrs. McInnis will be placed in the church at 2:00 pm on WednesdayThe family will be at the home of a daughter, Mary Young, 108 Onie Street, Iva, SC. Flowers are optional.
