MAURINE MCKIMMYDecember 30, 1923 - March 18, 2007ANDERSON, SCMrs. Maurine Mae Breedlove McKimmy, age 83, wife of Henry 'Hank' McKimmy, of 406 Pine Bark Road, died Sunday, March 18, 2007 at the AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Boone County WV, on December 30, 1923, Mrs. McKimmy was a daughter of the late L.M. 'Red' Breedlove and Bertie Angus Breedlove. She was retired from J.C. Penney Co. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she attended the Cokesbury Sunday School Class, the Creative Hearts and Hands, and was a member of the Helen Opt Circle. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was a very devoted and loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed her hobby of knitting.Survivors include, her husband, Henry 'Hank' McKimmy of the home; her daughter, Elizabeth 'Liz' Willis and her husband Jeff of Anderson; her brother, Jerry Breedlove and his wife, Bonnie of N.C.; her sisters, Virginia Rowsey of WV, Sybil Edwards of WV, and JoAnn Stephens and her husband Bert of Anderson. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Amy Jester Hammond and her husband Jody, Jonathan Alan Jester, Nathan Lewis Jester, Jackie Willis and Melissa Willis and two great-grandchildren, Grayson and Jozie Hammond.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Lewis McKimmy and her brothers, Max Breedlove and Carl Breedlove.The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at 2:00 pm at the Trinity United Methodist Church officiated by the Reverend Frank Lybrand.
