MAX RAMSEY ANDERSON, SCMr. Max Hobson Ramsey, of Anderson, husband of the late Ollie Mae Watson Ramsey, died Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home in Anderson.Born in Anderson, SC, Mr. Ramsey was a son of the late Leonard Emory Ramsey and Bessie Nixon Ramsey. He was a United States Army World War II Veteran and retired from Clark Schwebel as a carpenter. He was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church.Survivors include two sons, James Michael Ramsey and David Watson Ramsey, both of Anderson, SC; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Three brothers, Bobby Ramsey, Marvin Ramsey and James Ramsey also survive. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Clayton Nixon, Charles Ramsey, George Ramsey and Carl Ramsey.The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 13, 2007 at 10:00 am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel in Anderson with the Reverend Brent Armstrong officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum.
