Mr. Mefodiy Khomichuk, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Lyubomil, Volinska Provincia on February 15, 1930, he was the son of the late Maksim and Maria Khomichuk. He worked as a truck driver in the construction industry and was a member of The Summer of God Slavic Evangelical Church. He is survived by his children, Viktor Khomichuk, of Belton, SC, Igor Khomichuk, Yaroslav Khomichuk, both of Westfield, MA, Laris Kozhenevsky and her husband Peter, of Front Royal, VA, Juliya Tischnko, and Rozaliya Znakharchuk, both of Westfield, MA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Yelizaveta Nazarovna Khomichuk. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at The Summer of God Slavic Evangelical Church with Pastor Peter Nestertsov officiating.
