Ms. Melodie Michelle Renoir, 44, of Anderson, SC died on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Memorial Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. She was the daughter of Steve and Nancy Renoir and Margaret Hughes born on July 23, 1972 in Ogden, Utah. She attended New Spring Church in Anderson. Melodie is survived by her father and step-mother: Steve and Nancy Renoir of Williamston, SC; her mother: Margaret Emma Hughes; her children: Jarad Wood of Clemson, SC and Stephanie Wood, Bryanna Wood, and Emma Hughes all of Anderson, SC; one brother: Michael Anderson of Louisville, KY; and three sisters: Sherry Traynum of Liberty, SC, Danielle Gray of Piedmont, SC, and Amanda Wood of Colorado Springs, CO. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 2:00pm with the Rev. Sammy Kay, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Anderson. The Renoir family will receive friends from 11:30am until 1:30pm on Thursday, February 16, 2017 prior to the service at the funeral home.
