Melvin Wiles Iva, SC Melvin "Trigger" Leon Wiles, age 87, of Iva, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014, at his residence. Born in Iva, SC, on September 25, 1926, he was the son of the late James Waymon Wiles and the late Edna Simpson Wiles. He retired from Jackson Mills with over 40 years of service. He was a member of Good Hope Presbyterian Church. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be greatly missed by all. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Alice Moore Wiles; a son, Carey Wiles and his wife Donna, of Starr; a daughter, Lone Keasler and her husband, Carroll, of Starr; five grandchildren, Jeff Bowen, and his wife, Becky, Ashley Cook and her husband Eric, Jennifer Roach and her husband Justin, Adam Wiles and his wife Laurie and James Wiles; a step-grandson, Jason McDowell and his wife Haley; and twelve great-grandchildren, Erica, Seth, McKenna, Caroline, Claire, Jacob, Calla, Ellis, Stella, Allie, Gracie and Lilly. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, James J. and Douglas Wiles; and two sisters, Esoline W. Gaines and Idelia McMahan. The Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2014, at Iva City Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Annette Graham officiating. The family will gather for a time of visitation following the service. The family will be at the residence. Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Good Hope Presbyterian Church, P.O.
