Obituary

Michael Alan Clark, age 59, of Belton, SC, passed away Monday, February 7, 2022, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born August 10, 1962, in Caracas, Venezuela, he was the son of the late William Homer Clark, Jr. and Josette Marie Fregi. Michael was a veteran of the United States Navy where he served as an aviation structural mechanic. He later enjoyed a career as an auto repair technician and service coordinator before his retirement. Michael loved animals, traveling, collecting, cars, guns, and watches. He was a kind, compassionate man and a faithful Christian who lived life to the fullest. Michael was loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his stepson, Donald Andrew Goodwin; stepdaughter, Cathy Keampfer; and beloved family, Chuck and Shari Clark, Ember and Shane Chandler, Holden Chandler, Sonya Trujillo, Kamalani Deal, Victor, Laura, Blaze, Hannah, and Savannah Santos, Michael, Joanne, Sarah, Sabrina, and Savannah Calabrese, David Griffith and family, Tina Duke and family, Tommy Serrano and family, Yvette Serrano and family, Peggy Heron and family, Nancy Doshier and family, and Kim Zukerman and family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Gerlinda "Linda" Clark; second wife, Sandra Gayle Clark; and uncle, Gabriel Roland Fregi. The funeral service with military honors will be held Friday, February 11, 2022, at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Millum officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service until 7:00 pm. Burial will be at a later date at Hollywood Memorial Gardens in Hollywood, FL.
