Mike Cowart Belton, SC Michael Larry Cowart, age 47, of Belton, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Born on March 11, 1966, in Anderson, he was the only child of Larry Cowart and Linda Smith Cowart. Mike graduated from BHP in 1984. He was an avid car lover and an active member of Neals Creek Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Mandy Craft Cowart; two children, Blake and Morgan Cowart; mother and father-in-law, Louie and Pat Craft; sisters-in-law, Pam Rogers and her husband Terry and Mitzi Redinger and her husband Jeff; and nephews and niece, Travis Rogers and his wife Jacqueline, Chris Rogers and his wife Jennifer and Rachel Redinger. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruth and Erskine Smith and Furman Cowart and Ethel Cowart Smith. The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Neals Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Jason Dorriety and Reverend Alex Henderson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church. The family will be at the residence.
