Michael Jerome Dobbins, age 69, of Fair Play, SC, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born June 16, 1952, in Marietta, GA, he was a son of the late Hubert Sidney Dobbins and Elizabeth Scroggs Dobbins. Michael was formerly the warehouse manager at Kemira Chemicals in Marietta, GA. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Peggy Smith Dobbins; son, David Dobbins (Mandie) of Waterloo, SC; daughters, Kristie Hale (Chris) of Sharpsburg, GA, and Carolynn Dobbins of Mauldin, SC; brother, Hubert Sidney Dobbins, Jr. of Lakeland, FL; sister, Patricia Hamilton (Jim) of Douglasville, GA; grandchildren, Josh, Addison, Justin, and Tyler; special niece, Samantha Dobbins (Bo) of Acworth, GA; and his beloved dog, Happy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David D. Dobbins. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
