Michael Juan Lovell, age 68, of 413 Dogwood Lane, Townville, passed away at his residence on Sunday, May 27, 2018, with his beloved family by his side. Born on August 4, 1949, in Birmingham, AL, he was the son of the late Woodrow Lovell and the late Mary Robbins Lovell. For thirty-seven years, he was the loving husband of Callie Ball Lovell of the home. Mr. Lovell proudly served his country in the US Army. He was a business owner in the industrial flooring business. Michael attended Southside Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Callie, Mr. Lovell is survived by a daughter, Crystal Holbrook and her partner, Samuel Whitaker, of Fair Play, SC; a son, Joshua Holbrook of Townville, SC; a brother, David Mitchell Lovell and his wife, Rita, of Sandy Springs, SC; two sisters, Beverly James and her husband Michael who reside in AL, and Sherry Belser and her husband Turner of Morris, AL; an uncle, Mitchell Robbins and his wife, Mickey, of Fultondale, AL; and three grandchildren, Natalie Holbrook, Kaleb Whitaker, and Dylan Whitaker. A funeral service to celebrate and honor the life of Michael J. Lovell will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at 3:30 PM at Southside Baptist Church, with Rev. Aaron Gibson and Rev. Michael Crigler officiating.
