Michael James McFetridge, 64, husband of Jo Lynn Long McFetridge, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 at his residence. Born in Orange, TX on August 16, 1954, Michael was the son of the late Michael McFetridge and Sylvia Plant McFetridge. After earning his Associates Degree, he began his career as a shipbuilder at Levingston Shipyard in Orange, TX and was employed at Z.F. Transmission up until he retired. He also attended Grace View Baptist Church. In addition to his loving wife, Jo Lynn, Michael is survived by his children, Michael McFetridge (Talicia) of York, SC, Robert Revis (Alice) of Ft. Mill, SC, Antel Maneul (Christopher) of Lafayette, LA, Shannon Savee (Anthony) of York, SC, and Jennifer Ferrell of Townville, SC; sister, Deborah Rankin (David) of Orange, TX; 14 grandchildren; and a mother-in-law, Josephine Long. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Robbie Garrett officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at The McDougald Family Center. The family will be at 1212 Cely Rd., Easley, SC 29642. Flowers will be accepted.
