Michael Ted "Minner" McGuffin, age 67, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2016, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, SC, on June 14, 1949, Michael was the son of the late Edward McGuffin and the late Helen Whitlock McGuffin. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He found comfort in knowing he was a child of God. He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Wages McGuffin; two daughters, Stacey Gibson and her husband Aaron, and Jenna Wages and her husband Matthew; a sister, Vickie Brewer and her husband Tim; and six grandchildren, Chase, Caden, Connor, Cash, Allie, and Jaxson. The Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veteran's Cemetery on Monday, December 12, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend David Pickens officiating. The family will be at the home of his daughter, Stacey, and will receive friends on Sunday, December 11, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at The McDougald Funeral Home.
