Michael Landin Walker, age 58, of Anderson, SC, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born January 4, 1965, in Brady Lake, OH, he was a son of the late Lawrence Henry Walker and Violet Louise Perry Walker. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Walker Young; and half brothers, Robert (Bobbie) Campbell, Jerry Campbell, Larry Grimm, and Gary Grimm. Michael was employed with International Vitamin Corporation. He loved preaching and his Savior Jesus Christ. He wanted to be an example to everyone of Christian living. He also loved spending time with his dog Bella. Michael was of the Pentecostal faith. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Tracey Lane Oliver Walker; brothers, Steven Walker (Barbara) of Indiana and Lawrence "Eddy" Walker of Ohio; sister, Betty Moore of West Virginia; half-brother, Donald Campbell (Melissa) of West Virginia ; half-sisters, Patricia White and Diane Merritt both of South Carolina, Sondra Conzemius of Texas, and Carolyn Boreman of Ohio; and parents-in-law, Larry and Rebecca Oliver of Pendleton. The funeral service will be held Sunday, May 28, 2023, at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service until 6:00 pm. The service will be livestreamed and available for viewing on The McDougald Funeral Home Facebook page 10 minutes prior to service time.
