Michael Wayne "Mike" Brown, age 69, of Anderson, SC, dedicated and devoted husband to Pauline Thornton Brown for 46 years, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021, at his residence. Born June 23, 1951, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Louis Andrew Brown and the late Juanita Elsie Harris Brown. Mike was a graduate of Crescent High School, Class of 1969, and proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserves. He was employed as a maintenance supervisor at Rice Mills in Belton, SC, for 30 years. He enjoyed yardwork and working outside. In addition to his loving wife, Pauline, he is survived by his sons, Michael Chad Brown (Meredith) of Simpsonville, SC, and Jared Blake Brown (Kim) of Pendleton, SC; brothers, Alan Randall Brown of Anderson, SC, and Robert Louis Brown (Glenda) of Iva, SC; sister, Peggy June Mullinax of Anderson, SC; and four grandchildren, William Bennett Brown, Davis Michael Brown, Ian McCraw, and Julien McCraw. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an unborn infant brother. The family will receive friends Monday, March 29, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Holland officiating. Burial will follow at Iva City Cemetery.
