Michael Everett Lewis, Sr., 75, of Anderson, SC, passed away, Sunday, December 13, 2020, at AnMed Health Medical Center. He was born January 22, 1945, in Washington, DC, and was the son of the late Jeffery and Ruth (Hines) Lewis. He was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Auda Mae Eldridge and father-in-law, Gradon Eldridge. Mike was a member of St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Linda Eldridge Lewis; children, Margaret Harned (Brian) of Williamsburg, VA, Patricia Miller (Kendall) of Hoover, AL, Michael E. Lewis, Jr. of Anderson, SC, and Marybeth Bannan (Patrick) of Roswell, GA; sister, Kathleen Scott (Mike) of Anchorage, AK; and 13 grandchildren, Cathryn (19), Jacob (17), Rachel (14), Braylon (14), Patrick (13), Samantha (13), Xander (13), Paxton (11), Taylor (10), Quinn (9), Brooke (9), Frankie (3) and Max (1). The Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, December 17, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church with Father Bob Higgins officiating. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home.
