Mike Sorrow August 19, 1946 - August 16, 2012 ANDERSON, SC James Michael Sorrow, Sr., of 5488 Belton Hwy, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at The Rainey Hospice House. Born in Athens, GA, he was a son of Doris Smith Sorrow of Fairfax, VA and the late Carl Franklin Sorrow. He was the owner of JMS Electrical Contractors for 34 years. He was an avid racing enthusiast and owned several classic cars. Mike was a member of Neals Creek Baptist Church where he had formerly served as Deacon. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife, Roberta Willis Sorrow of the home; sons, Michael Sorrow, Jr (Nancy) of Anderson, and Marc Sorrow (Jill) of Belton; a daughter, Renee Hawkins (Scott) of Anderson; brothers, Frank Sorrow (Sandy) of Fairfax, VA, and Terry Sorrow of Louisville, KY; a sister, Ann Morton (D.J.) of Louisville, KY; and six grandchildren, Mitch, Justin, Rachel and Luke Sorrow, and Meredith and Whitney Hawkins. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Neals Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Alex Henderson and Mr. Butch Pruitt officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends on Saturday, August 18, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home.
