Thomas Michael (Mike) Stone, 68, passed away August 22, 2022, at his home in Williamston, SC, surrounded by family and friends. He fought a long, courageous battle against multiple medical issues. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Wanda; daughters, Stephanie Hall (Hud) and Valerie Woodson (Doug); four grandchildren, Stevianna Woodson, Ashlynn Hall, Landry Woodson, and Michael Hall; sister, Jean Gleaton (Jerry); and many special nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Thomas Stone and Annie Mae Poore Stone, he was preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Stone. Mike was known as a hard worker who spent 37 years as an HVAC Technician at Milliken's Cushman Plant. He was inspired by nature and spent as much time outside as possible hunting, fishing and riding ATVs. He never missed an opportunity to make a kid feel special and could always be counted on for a laugh with his funny songs. But his first priority was always loving and supporting his family. Family, friends and others whose lives Mike touched are invited to Hopewell Baptist Church, 3530 Hopewell Road, Anderson, SC, on Friday, August 26, 2022. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
