MILDRED PARKER AYERS August 2, 1920 - September 18, 2008ANDERSON, SCMrs. Mildred Parker Ayers, 88, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died Thursday, September 18, 2008 at the AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Edward Munson Parker and Emily Kersey Parker. Mrs. Ayers was retired from the Singer Company and was a loyal member of Trinity United Methodist Church for over fifty years.Surviving are two daughters, Beverly A. Bramlett and her husband, Pete of Williamston, Jeanine A. Elrod and her husband, David of Pendleton; four grandchildren, Russell Elrod and wife, Karen of Pendleton, Brad Bramlett and wife, Wendy of Spartanburg, Betsy B. Schaffer and husband, David of Simpsonville and Jeffrey Elrod and wife, Cathy of Pendleton and nine great-grandchildren, Hunter Bramlett, Andrew Elrod, Parker Bramlett, Rhianna Elrod, Kyle Schaffer, Caleb Elrod, Tyler Schaffer, Miranda Elrod and Savannah Bramlett.Mrs. Ayers was predeceased by six brothers and two sisters.The family will receive friends Sunday, September 21, 2008 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm with the funeral following in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Paul Frey. A Private graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 1809 N.
