Mildred Taylor Dansby, age 102, wife of the late Wade Ferguson Dansby, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the Presbyterian Home of Clinton.
Born in Chattanooga, TN, on December 16, 1909, she was the daughter of the late William White Taylor and Ella May Taylor. She was a retired teacher in the South Carolina Public School System and was member of the First Presbyterian Church of Anderson.
Survivors include her daughter, Joy D. Aldret of Anderson, SC; her son, Wade F. Dansby and his wife, Surada of Chapel Hill, NC; grandchildren, Wade Dansby, III, Taylor Dansby and his wife, Gina, William Dansby, John Aldret, Jr. and his wife, Janice, and Angie Bruhjell, and her husband, Gary; great-grandchildren, Erik Bruhjell and Isla and Louis Dansby.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and a son-in-law, John Aldret.
A private family committal service will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum officiated by the Reverend Dr. Dennis R. Tedder and the Reverend Caroline East Berardi.
