MILDRED DOCKINS April 3, 1920 - June 20, 2013 ANDERSON, SC Mildred Morris Manly Dockins, age 93, of Anderson, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Oconee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Robert Orr Morris and the late Effie Blair Morris. She worked in textiles for many years, retiring from Haynesworth Mills. She was a member of Forest Hills Baptist Church, where she was a former Sunday School teacher of the Senior Ladies Class and member of the handbell choir. Mildred is survived by her children, Thomas M. Manly and his wife Ruby, Russell M. Manly, L. Michael Manly and Richard L. Manly and his wife Donna; 12 grandchildren, Suzette Hart, Pamela Garrison, Phillip Manly, Tannah Getsinger, Troy Manly, Tami Elliott, Jason Manly, Warren Manly, Molly Manly, Kelly McCollum, Caryn Manly and Elizabeth McWilliams; 22 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Louie Manly and her second husband Fred Dockins; a son, Douglas M. Manly; one grandchild, Brett Manly; four brothers, John "Jack" Morris, "Bunk" Morris, Vick Morris and Charles Morris; and two sisters, Lucille Wald and Lillie Mae Pierce. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 4:00 PM at Forest Hill Baptist Church with Reverend Tom Owen officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the church on Saturday, prior to the service from 2:00 PM until 3:30 PM.
