Mildred Agnes Sears Farmer, loving wife to the late William Farmer, age 85, passed away on December 23, 2017, at Heartland Health Care Center-Greenville West. Born in Pendleton, SC, on March 10, 1932, Mildred was a daughter of the late Jesse Hodges Sears and Lucy Gailey Sears. She worked as a weaver for Milliken and for Jacobs Chuck Manufacturing Co. in Clemson, SC, where she later retired. She was of the Baptist faith. Mildred is survived by her sisters, Louise Brock of Anderson, SC, Dorothy Moore and Caroline Jamieson, both of Pendleton, SC, and Hazel Brodie of Columbia, SC; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband William, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jesse Hodges Sears, Jr., Sam Sears, and Ernest Sears. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. following visitation on Wednesday in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Dwight Greene officiating.
