MILDRED D. FLEMING Mildred Duffell Fleming, age 84, of Anderson, departed this life on Saturday, May 30, 2015, to go to her Heavenly Home with Jesus. For 62 years, she was the devoted wife of the late Rev. Randy Fleming until his death in 2012. She was born in Anderson, SC on December 15, 1930, to the late Shelton and Mary Spence Duffell. She didn't have any children of her own, but she was Blessed with a Godson, Noah Nixon of Anderson. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Paul Duffell (Willie Mae) of Anderson and James Carl Duffell (Margaret) of Starr; 6 sisters, Dorothy Ginn of Iva, Linda Johnson of Elberton, GA, Grace Nixon of Anderson, Mary Jo Young of Iva, Rebecca Baber (Ken) of Thousand Oaks, CA, and Deborah Bruce of Anderson; also surviving are several nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. She was affectionately called "Sister" by all of her siblings, nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Iva High School and was retired following 34 years of employment with South Carolina National Bank where she served locations in Anderson, North Augusta, Abbeville and Edgefield. Her husband being a minister and having pastored several churches, she was a devoted wife assisting him by teaching Sunday School, teaching Bible School, teaching women's and youth ministry. She most recently attended the North Anderson Pentecostal Holiness Church. The Funeral Service celebrating the life of Mrs. Mildred Fleming will be held on Wednesday, June, 6, 2015, at 1 p.m. at the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Floyd Stansell, Rev. Mike Spence, and Rev. Ken Brown officiating. Entombment will follow at the Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
