Mildred Ellen Ashley Graham, age 98, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the Oaks at Chanticleer in Greenville.

Born March 16, 1927, in Iva, SC, she was the daughter of the late Louis Ashley and Rosa Lee Wiles Ashley. She was married for 56 years to Roy L. Graham, Jr. until his death in 2016. She was also preceded in death by 10 brothers and 5 sisters.

Mildred worked at Jackson Mill in Iva, Appleton Mill in Anderson, and Sangamo Electric in West Union before becoming a homemaker for a number of years. After that, her work history continued at Cochran Shoes in Anderson. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church. She was always very active, loved gardening and was a great cook. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she enjoyed traveling. She loved caring for others and worked in the church nursery for 41 years. And even though she was one of the youngest children, she still took care of her older siblings. Mildred was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and was cherished by her family.

She is survived by her son, Wayne Terry (Kathy); daughters, Gina Bielby (Steve) and Faye Oliver (Curtis); 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 2:00-2:45 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm in the Chapel with Pastor Bob Marcaurelle and Dr. Don Cox officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Veterans Mausoleum.
