Mildred Elise Kelly, 78, of Anderson, SC passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born October 27, 1940, in Meriwether County, GA, she was a daughter of the late Bonnie Cook and Clyde Story Cook. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Crystal Scruggs. Mildred retired after a 35-year career of being a nurse. She was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed working in her flower garden. Those left to cherish her memory is her husband of 45 years, Larry Kelly; children, Bonnie Elise Bailey, Warren Bailey, Michelle Bailey and Chris Bailey; sister, Shirley Wall; eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. The memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Mountain Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Ray Whitfield officiating.
