Mildred Lee McGee McMullan passed away on February 12, 2016 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Iva, SC, on October 26, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Wilton E. McGee and the late Mary Lou Campbell McGee. Throughout her life, Mildred was a homemaker, seamstress at Iva Manufacturing Co. and a Teacher's Aide in the reading room at Iva Elementary. For over 30 years, Mildred was a Beginner Sunday School Teacher and served for many years as Director of the WMU. She was an accomplished seamstress and loved to cook for her family. She is survived by her loving husband, H.G. McMullan; a son, Larry McMullan and his wife Rita of Iva; daughters, Rosalin McMullan of Iva and Marlene Harris and her husband Mike of Anderson; a sister Mary Ellen Osborn of Anderson; grandchildren, Jacob Smith and his wife Shannon, Audra Fiebig and her husband Ty and Elizabeth Beamer and her husband Tyler; and great-grandchildren, Aubrianne Smith, Abbigayle Smith, Colette Fiebig and Rose Beamer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Phylis Smith and a brother, Louie McGee. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. at Union Baptist Church with Rev. Mike McMillion and Rev. Danny Burnley officiating. Interment will follow at Iva City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church, prior to the service on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Baptist Church Building Fund at 703 Barnes Station Rd., Iva, SC 29655.
