MILDRED REECE May 29, 1931 - January 25, 2006ANDERSON, SCMrs. Mildred Sexton Reece, age 74 of Anderson, SC, wife of the late Reverend Talmadge Reece, Sr., died Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.Born in Greenwood, SC on May 29, 1931, Mrs. Reece was a daughter of the late Rev. C. J. Sexton and Obera Kay Sexton. She was a devoted military wife who served with her husband in the United States Air Force for 21 years. She was retired from the Upper South Carolina Conference as a bookkeeper for 28 years. She was a member of Taylor Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church; coordinator of the Love Pantry, member of the Choir, the Golden Age Club and the Helping Hands Women's Ministry.Survivors include a daughter, Cherie Fowler and her husband, Wayne of Anderson, SC; sons, Talmadge Reece, Jr., and his wife, Margaret of Marietta, GA and Paul Reece and his wife, Lisa of Melbourne, FL; a brother, the Reverend Carl Sexton of Clemson, SC; sisters, Doris Bolt of Simpsonville, SC, Eugenia Webster of Kingsport, TN and Elizabeth Crumpton of Pinellas Park, FL; and four grandchildren, Millicent, Amanda, Lauren and Stephen who lovingly called her Mimi.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Sexton.The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 27, 2006 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Brent Lollis and Dr. Ronald Moore. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson, SC.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 27, 2006 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm.The family will be at the residence.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Royal Rangers, P.O.
