Mildred Inez Jaynes Sammons, age 86, of Anderson, passed away on May 30, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born May 27, 1932 in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Z.F. Jaynes and Ruby Meeks Jaynes. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James E. Sammons. She is survived by her son, Rick (Stephanie) Sammons of Anderson; daughter, Wanda Swaney of Anderson; sister, Frances Jaynes of Saluda; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 12:30pm, Monday, June 4, 2018 at New Silver Brook Cemetery with Rev. Dwight Greene officiating.
