TAYLORJULY 14, 1927 - March 17, 2009BUFFALO, MINNESOTA ' Mrs. Mildred 'Mittie' Taylor, age 81, of Buffalo, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, March 17th at the Buffalo Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Clarence Swaney and Alma Duncan Swaney.Mittie was born July 14, 1927 in Pendleton. She lived in many places throughout her life, but for the last six years resided in Buffalo to be near her beloved children. Mittie was known for her cooking skills and never meeting a stranger. Survivors include her daughters: Jan Yonak, and her husband Wayne of Monticello, Minnesota and Pam Cano, and her husband Noe Cano, Jr. of Bay City, Texas; sisters, Frances Brown, Doris Craft and Joan Kelly; brother, Jimmy Swaney; eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, her husband Barney Ray Taylor, son Barry Taylor, a daughter Debby Schnable, and a sister, Iona Melvin, predeceased her.A Funeral Service was held March 20, 2009 at the Chapel of Park View Care Center in Buffalo for her Minnesota family and friends. A local Funeral Service will be held at 3 pm Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at Faith Fellowship in Pendleton conducted by Rev. Sam Duncan. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens in Clemson.
