Thrasher of 704 Bowden Road, Anderson, SC, died Sunday, November 06, 2005 in Anderson, SC.Born in Winston-Salem, NC on December 21, 1927, Mrs. Thrasher was a daughter of the late Royal Kiger and Rosa Swaim Kiger. She was a homemaker and a member of Southside Baptist Church.Survivors include her husband, Jack D. Thrasher of the home; sons, Jackie Thrasher and his wife, Brenda of Lincolnton, NC, Richard Thrasher and his wife, Phyllis, Kenneth Thrasher and his wife, Lynn, and Danny Thrasher and his wife, Connie, all of Anderson, SC; daughters, Judy Freeman and her husband, Dan of Mooresville, NC and Wanda Ginn and her husband, Jimmy of Anderson, SC; a brother, Lester Kiger of Winston-Salem, NC; sisters, Shirley Strickland of Newport News, VA, Ruby Kiger of Winston-Salem, NC, Barbara Barneycastle of Newport News, VA, Gracie Goodyear of Georgia and Nancy Fletcher of Newport News, VA; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Fletcher and Bill Fletcher. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Phillip McAlister.
