TREADAWAYJULY 31, 1928 - JANUARY 31, 2011STARR, SC ' Mildred Hendricks Treadaway, age 82, of 114 Knowlandale Drive, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2011.Born July 31, 1928, in Elberton, GA, she was a daughter of the late Ezra Hendricks and Ada Morrison Hendricks. Mrs. Treadaway was a homemaker and a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church.Survivors include her husband of nearly fifty-seven years, Leo H. Treadaway; and children: Michael (Emily) Treadaway of Westminter, SC, Martha Delores (Ray) Whitmire of Salem, SC, Karen (Randy) Hudson of Pelzer, SC, Sharon Treadaway of Starr, SC, and Dewayne (Mary) Treadaway of Enterprise, AL; sister, Stella Lunsford of Elberton, GA; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Treadaway was predeceased by a brother, Marion Hendricks; and two sisters: Sara Gulley and Willie Mae Hopkins.A Graveside Service conducted by the Reverend Ed Hunsinger will be held at 11am on Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family is at the home of Sharon Treadaway, 116 Knowlandale Drive, Starr, and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 6pm until 8pm on Tuesday.The Treadaway family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Brookside Living Center and Ark Hospice.
