Mary Minerva Walden Foster, age 91, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Fairforest, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Walden and the late Mary Hester Mendenhall Walden. For 46 years, she was the devoted wife of the late William Calvin Foster. Mrs. Foster spent her entire career as a dedicated school teacher. Survivors include five loving children, eight grandchildren, one great granddaughter and one sister, Jane Smith, of Jasper, TX. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 2:00PM at Boulevard Baptist Church with Rev. Elwood Orr and Dr. Johnny McKinney officiating. Visitation will be held at the church, following the service. A private burial will be held at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
