Manley of 16 Mahaffey Road, Williamston, SC, died Monday, November 28, 2005 in Greenville, SC.Born in Williamston, SC, on May 12, 1930, Mrs. Manley was a daughter of the late Robert G. Higginbotham and Susie Johnson Higginbotham. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant View Wesleyan Church in Belton, SC. She is survived by her husband, Marvin W. Manley of the home; brothers, William 'Bill' Higginbotham of Azel, TX, Earl Higginbotham and Jerold Higginbotham, both of Williamston, SC, Roy Gene Higginbotham of Travelers Rest, SC and C. L. Higginbotham of Roebuck, SC; sisters, Doris Jordan of Griffin, GA and Mary Horne of Williamston, SC.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Carl Robert Manley; two sisters, Helen McAlister and Frances Higginbotham and a brother, James Higginbotham.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2005 at 11:00 am at Pleasant View Wesleyan Church in Belton officiated by the Reverends Herbert Taylor and Jonathan Payne. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Anderson, SC.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mrs. Manley will be placed in the church at 10:30 am on Thursday. The family will be at the home of her sister, Mary Horne, 1102 Anderson Drive, Williamston, SC.Flowers are optional.
