Minnie Louise Cheek Stubblefield, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson, SC on May 11, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Dudley Cheek and the late Florence Bell Griggs Cheek. She retired from Clark Schwebel after many years of service. After retirement she was a cashier at Perx Carwash in Anderson. She was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith. She is survived by two sons, Jory Stubblefield of Lawrenceville, GA and Tony Stubblefield, of Anderson, SC; one grandchild, Charles Thomas Stubblefield, of Lawrenceville, GA; and one great-grandchild, Ellery Anne Stubblefield. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Marion Stubblefield; and two sisters, Gladys Cheek Ginn, and Inez Cheek Carter. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
