Moffatt Todd Haynie, Jr., husband of Betsy Thomson Haynie, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2016. Born in Belton, SC, on December 21, 1931, he was the son of the late Moffatt Todd Haynie and the late Edna Clinkscales Haynie. Moffatt was a graduate of the University of South Carolina and proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was President of Haynie Builders, Inc., and was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Belton where he was a former Deacon and Sunday School teacher. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Moffatt Todd Haynie III and his wife, Joy Finley Haynie; and Waddy Thomson Haynie; grandchildren, Moffatt Todd Haynie IV and Finley Joy Haynie; and sisters, Sara Fant and Janie Hentz. A Graveside Service will be held Monday, October 3, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Belton Cemetery, with Reverend T. Dale Lynch officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the Family Room of First Baptist Church of Belton until 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, P. O.
