MOONAugust 16, 1914 - July 26, 2009 OBITUARY ANDERSON, SC Mrs. Montez Cooley Craft Moon, age 94, of Anderson, died Sunday, July 26, 2009 at Brookside Living Center. Born in Greenville County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Newton Cooley and Cora McCurley Cooley and was a retired weaver at Equinox Mill for 35 years. She was a member of West Anderson Church of God. Surviving is a daughter, Martha Craft Teasley and her husband, Wade of Starr; four grandchildren, Tony Adams, Kimberly Teasley, Jennifer Brown and Jill Hall: ten great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Craft and second husband, Elmer Moon; daughter, Jeanette Craft Adams; grandson, Scott Teasley; brother, Reverend Haskell Cooley and a sister, Vera Fowler. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Tommy Hart and Reverend Ronald Fowler. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6pm-8pm.
