Morris Allen Brewer, age 64, of Anderson, SC passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born February 1, 1954 in Anderson, SC, he was a son of the late Robert E. and Edith Burton Brewer. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Ethelene Harper. Morris had worked for Orian Rugs and was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Brewer of the home; daughter, Leighann Watson of Sandy Springs, SC; step-daughter, Sonya Chapman (Vance) of Pulaski, TN; step-son, Wade Marston (Penny) of Lawrenceburg, TN; brothers, Bobby Brewer (Pat) of Pendleton, SC, Lamar Brewer (Leta) of Pendleton, SC, Tommy Brewer of La France, SC and Major Brewer of Pendleton, SC; sisters, Brenda Powell (Wayne) of Easley, SC and Linda Long (Philip) of Anderson, SC; also survived by two grandchildren, Ethan and Emiliegh Watson and five step-grandchildren, Aaron, Ariel Chapman and Austin, Brent, Logan and Jake Marston. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be in the chapel at 11:00 am Thursday with Rev. Mark Dickson and Wayne Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
