Morris Winford Fowler Anderson , SC Morris Winford Fowler, age 81, of Anderson, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 30, 2014 at his home, surrounded by family and loved ones. Born in Stephens County, GA, he was the son of the late Garnett Fowler and the late Lucy Segars Fowler. He was a car dealer his entire life and also worked for Fluor Daniel Construction Company. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by Ollie Mae Griffin Fowler, of Anderson; and children, Diane (Randy) Raines, Mike (Diane) Fowler, and Janet (Steve) Cromer, of Anderson, Lynn Tucker, of Iva, Deb Fowler and Mark (Cindy) Fowler, of Anderson; Diane Moore Fowler, of Iva; and children, Christy Loftis, of Iva, and Kevin Fowler, of Anderson; a sister, Mozelle Starcher, of Lavonia, GA; 25 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Fred Marshall Fowler and Wesley Fowler; four brothers and four sisters. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. with Reverend C.W. Hicks officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the home of Mark and Cindy Fowler, 1018 Silo Lane, Anderson, SC 29625 and will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
