Moses M. Lawrimore (Larry or Jr.) His journey began on December 21, 1944 in Marion County, South Carolina. Larry grew up with a large family on a working farm, learning how to hunt, fish, care for animals, and grow beautiful gardens full of lush, flowering plants and vegetables. He began working for a paper mill in Georgetown immediately after high school but soon relocated to Charleston, SC. Larry worked at the Charleston Naval Shipyard until his retirement in 1991, at the age of 47. While there he met the love of his life and best friend, Jeanie. On May 20, 1977, they married and blended their families, later moving to a Walterboro, SC farm in 1978. Lisa 2/2/1966 Suzi 5/3/1970 Billy 11/26/1971 Their family expanded even more with three grandchildren: Matthew, Caleigh-Jean, & Addison. Larry spent his last 30 years on the water: Ashepoo River & Lake Hartwell. He could always be found outside fishing, gardening, or playing with his grandkids. Larry met Jesus March 6, 2018. He was a beloved husband and father, but was a truly amazing Dida who is loved beyond words.
