TYNER December 16, 1916 - September 1, 2008ANDERSON, SCMrs. Mozell Simmons Tyner, of 1022 Bleckley Street, wife of the late Cole Blease Tyner, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2008 at her residence.Born in Abbeville, SC, Mrs. Tyner was a daughter of the late Fred Simmons and Lula Mae Waters Simmons. She was a homemaker and also worked for many years in the textile industry. She was a member of Eureka Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Arnita Hall of the home; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Arlen Whitworth and two sisters, Parnee Simmons and Beatrice Redd.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2008 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by Dr. Ron Fousek. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be at the residence.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eureka Baptist Church, 1600 U.S. 29 North, Anderson, SC 29621.
